These terms cover your use of Den, a pet health records app provided by [Company Name] ("we," "us"). By downloading or using Den, you agree to them. Please read them, and if you do not agree, do not use the app.
Using Den
Den helps you keep your pet's records on your device. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your device secure. You agree to use the app for lawful, personal purposes and not to interfere with how it works.
Den is not veterinary advice
Den is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide veterinary, medical, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed veterinarian. Always rely on your veterinarian for decisions about your pet's health. Reminders in the app are conveniences, not guarantees, so do not depend on them alone for time-sensitive care.
Your content
The records, photos, and documents you add are yours. Because they are stored on your device, you control them. You are responsible for keeping your own backups if you want them, for example through your device's encrypted backup.
Subscriptions, trial, and billing
- Den offers a subscription with a 3-day free trial on the annual plan. Pricing is shown in the app before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, except during a free trial, where no charge is made until the trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. Canceling stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.
Changes to the app
We may update, add, or remove features over time to improve Den. We may also update these terms. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, note it in the app. Continuing to use Den after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Availability and warranties
We work to keep Den reliable, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties that the app will be uninterrupted or error free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Den, including any loss of data stored on your device. Some places do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
